Design thinking is a creative and collaborative approach to innovating that puts people at the centre of the process.
We have two workshop offerings:
- The 2-hour design thinking crash course (public workshop or delivered in house).
- Customised 1-3 day design thinking workshops for your teams – tailored to tackling real challenges for your organisation.
The crash course is a 2-hour long, fast-paced, hands-on project to take you through a full design cycle and provide you with an opportunity to try out design thinking. No artistic talent, design experience, or knowledge about design thinking is required at all! The crash course utilises the methodology and materials developed and made available by the Institute of Design at Stanford University (the d.school).
Even if you’re looking for something more in depth or tailored to your organisation’s needs, we always suggest that organisations start with the crash course. It’s a great team building activity and introduces the core concepts and language of design-thinking which then provides a platform for discussions about how design thinking could be applied in your organisation.
With the custom courses we work with you to plan and deliver a learning experience that not only provides in-depth skills and knowledge of the design thinking process and methods, but also tackles real-world challenges that your business or organisation is facing. We don’t want to design solutions for you, rather we want to equip you with the confidence, the processes and the tools to unleash your teams’ creativity and ability to innovate now and into the future.
Courses can be delivered at your place of business, or we can arrange a venue. We’re based in Canberra, but happy to travel to conduct workshops.
